As I’m sure you’ve noticed, most of my clients are dogs so I was really excited about my shoot with Millie. Kit & Millie have been together for 21 years and they have the most amazing relationship. Apparently Millie’s real name is “Mildew” as that was Kit’s favourite word when they first met. Luckily for Millie, Kit’s mum managed to get her young daughter to agree to a compromise and they agreed on Millie.
We started off our shoot in the gardens around Kit’s apartment before we headed off to the park (yes, you heard right…we went for a walk to the park, with a cat… more on that later!).

One of Millie’s favourite things is being combed by her Mum… she was in heaven lying in the grass being pampered.
Once she was relaxed and looking her best, it was time to head to the park. Millie travels in style on her Mum’s shoulders when they go out, keeping a close eye on anything interesting thats going on.
At the park, its all about exploring…with Millie (safe on her lead!) loving being able wander around and check out all the exciting new sights and smells.
I had the best time with Millie and Kit. This is one very loved cat…and she knows it! Millie has her people wrapped firmly around her furry little paw as is fitting for a feline of her age and standing.
I absolutely love the image below that Kit sent me recently. Its so wonderful that Millie has been a part of Kit’s whole life, I don’t think a little girl could have asked for a more loyal and loving best friend.
