I absolutely ADORE French Bulldogs!  They’re the clowns of the dog world, with their stocky little bodies, gorgeous squishy faces and never ending snorts and snuffles.  Needless to say, I was beyond excited when Jessie emailed to book the shoot she’d purchased through a fundraising raffle run by Animal Angels Rescue.  I actually squealed out loud when I clicked through to Alphie’s instagram account to check him out (FYI it’s #alphiethefrenchie if you want to follow him). I’m fairly certain that one day Alphie will be famous, and I look forward to posting about the celebrity dog I photographed “before he was a star”.

This session goes down as one of my favourites ever.  Alphie was so much fun to photograph, and I loved that his awesome mum Jessie was willing to go along with every silly idea I had on the day.  I think she almost hyperventilated blowing bubbles non-stop while I laughed my head off at Alphie trying to catch them!

Jessie had a copy of this last photo printed for her Mum… Apparently Alphie has his own room at Grandma’s house. How awesome is that??
