We’re looking for silly dogs, dorky dogs, flat face dogs, wrinkly dogs … If your dog makes you laugh, then we want to celebrate them!
From epic underbites (like my girl Lulu) to loose wrinkly jowls that flap hysterically when they run. From squishy faced pugs & bulldogs to the hairless Chinese Crested and loveable mutts with funny expressions! We want to tell their stories in this happy, special edition coffee table book.

Proceeds from the participation fee are donated back to our animal rescue partners.

Lulu: the face that launched a book!
When I first met Lulu, she was being cared for by the team at PugSOS (one of the rescue partners for this project!) after she was rescued from an awful life pumping of out litter after litter of puppies.
She was at the Dog Lovers Show in 2017, and near the end of the last day I had taken a break from my stand to have a look around when Lulu's funny face literally stopped me in my tracks. I dropped down to sit on the ground in front of this adorable little dog who walked straight up and pushed her head into my lap for pats. Of course I fell instantly in love and took that as a sign that Lulu was meant to be part of our family (not knowing at the time that she does this to everybody she meets!)
Since this funny, lazy, gassy, demanding little girl with the permanent resting bitch face entered my life, I've found myself laughing at her antics (or more often just her face!) every day. I've seen how much joy Lulu brings to the world, just by looking the way she does and I'm forever grateful to the people who saved her and made this new life possible.
The Funny Face Dogs book celebrates all the funny face dogs and the joy they bring the world, but just as much it's about raising funds to allow more of these amazing animals to find their perfect forever homes like Lulu did.
